UG DMAT: Eligibility Criteria and Counseling
DMAT is organized by APDMC for admission in to private dental
and medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh. This examination will held
in the month of June 2015. The necessary criteria for the eligibility
of a candidate is mentioned below:
Those candidates are eligible whose age is equal to or
more than 17 years as on 31 December 2014.
For MBBS / BDS courses:The candidate should have passed
12th exam either from MP Board or from CBSE or from any other
equivalent examination. The candidate should have passed with Physics,
Chemistry, Botany and Zoology securing 50% or more marks in these subjects
combined together. It is also necessary to pass these subjects independently.
The candidate should have passed in English also.
for BPT, BOT, B.Sc. Nursing, and other Allied Paramedical Programs:
The candidate should have passed 12th exam either from MP Board or from
CBSE or from any other equivalent examination. The candidate should have
passed with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. It is also necessary
to pass these subjects independently. The candidate should have passed
in English also.
The candidate should be an Indian citizen. It is not required to be a
domicile of MP.
considering eligibility for DMAT 2015 following points
needs to be considered:
There will be no rounding off of the marks as obtained by the candidate
in 12th or equivalent examination. If the average of marks is 49.5 in
the relevant subjects, the candidate will not be eligible.
The candidates appearing in qualifying examination are also eligible to
take MP DMAT 2015. However, the candidate fulfills eligibility criteria
If a candidate’s marks are revised after revaluation, he may become
eligible after producing proof before the publication of merit list.
The candidates failing in any subjects are eligible, subject to the condition
he/ she submit the proof of passing before counseling.

Time of Exam: 9.0AM to 12.0PM
Question paper: one
Total Questions: 200
Subjects with equal weightage: Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology
of all a DMAT merit list will be prepared based on sanctioned seats to
APDMC, which will be known before counseling. A waiting list will also
candidates score equal no of marks, then merit list will decided on the
basis of higher marks scored in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics sequentially.
Then a elder person will be preferred.
The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of open counseling.
Candidates got seat in first counseling if do not join the allotted institution
will be eligible to take part is second counseling.
The counseling schedule will be declared in all leading news paper as
well as on APDMC Website
It is compulsory to keep DMAT Rank Card with the candidate.
It is compulsory to keep ready original documents for verification at
the time of counseling.
If a candidate remains absent on the date and time allotted and comes
afterwards will be considered only if counseling is in progress. The allotment
done to other candidates will remain unchanged during his absence.
The candidates who remain absent or could not produce original documents
will be called in next counseling.
The candidate will produce original documents for verification by the
Canvassing will disqualify a candidate.
The college cannot be changed on mutual understanding.
The allotment by Admission Committee will be binding.
